Did Sarabjit Singh deserve to die like this?

Today, Sarabjit Singh’s death is mourned by every Indian. Why? Because most of the Indians believe he was an innocent man. I don’t know what the truth is but there are many abnormalities in the case, which forces each one of us to think whether he deserved to die like this?

  1. It is a clear and informative post for someone who does not know what actually happened in pakistan with our Singh and why India did not do anything about it, just proving that India is really a soft state and I am not proud of it.. Being diplomatic is another thing but to safeguard the dignity of all Indians around the world is India's responsibility because if a single citizen dies like this anywhere in the world, whole India's dignity is in question..!!

    1. Yup, when it comes to these kind of situations, India is always the last one to do anything, even for its own citizens :(

  2. Nicely written Pankti. Sarabjit is an Indian innocent life lost..in a foreign land, all alone without any of his family or friends. I don't care whether he was a spy or not, he and his family have paid a big price for Indian govt's lack of tact.

    1. Sfurti, there are still thousands of Indian prisoners out there in Pakistan. I really shudder to think what will happen to them if the Indo-Pak relations deteriorate.
