There are sirens and, then, there are sirens. Some warn you of danger and some lure you into danger...Lured by a sexy siren, Vicky is mistaken for a secret agent, kidnapped, tortured and slated for death. Will he survive and save Bangalore from going up in flames?...There is a serial killer loose in the city leaving mysterious messages around the bodies of the victims. Are the messages a challenge to the police or a siren call to lure another victim...Jay is sent to Bellary to investigate a possible ISI plot. Was it merely a murky political plot or was there something more sinister in the offing? And why were two women suddenly singing siren songs of love?...Three tales of nerve-racking suspense and pulse-pounding action.

Review

When somebody talks about thrillers, I can only think of suspense thrillers, i.e., Sidney Sheldon types. This eBook, which is written by my blogger friends, has 3 crime stories: Femme Fatale, Bella Donna and Bellary. The first story is purely a crime fiction with a twist of romance. While reading it, you will definitely feel like you are watching some Wednesday-type movie. Bella Donna is my most favorite one in the book. Without going out the spoilers, I’d just say that you will regret not reading it, especially if you like psychological aspects in the story. Bellary, the last one, beautifully blends crime with paranormal and humor elements. I loved the way the protagonist’s mind worked; his line of thought sometimes made me laugh out loudly.

Overall, I’d really recommend the readers to read this book because at the price of Rs. 99, getting access to 3 entertaining stories is a good deal. At least it’s better than wasting money on stupid movies that currently rake in lot of success.

Ratings: 6.5 out of 10

Grammar and Punctuation: The grammar, punctuations and the language of the book was impeccable. My rating would be 2 out of 2.

Flow of the Story: The flow of the stories was quite good and it wasn’t presented in the complex manner to make readers go cross-eyed while deciphering who is doing what. However, the second story has lot of chemistry lessons and it may confuse a reader who doesn’t have science background (I don’t have science background and it sometimes made me scratch my head in confusion). So 1 out of 2 for the flow

Concept: The book has 3 stories and all the stories have different style. The first story, although fast-paced, had nothing new. The second one was simply outstanding and the third one was quite entertaining. 1 out of 2 for the flow of the story.

Reaction: Overall, the eBook is a good read. At the end, you will be glad that you read it. 2.5 out of 4 for reaction.

If anyone else has read it and want to discuss the book, please comment. We can start discussing it right here. No kidding.
