Oh, How Do I Unlove You!
Every morning, I used to wake up with a smile because I knew
I was loved by you. The way you looked at me, the smile that you bestowed on
me, the way you held my hands used to send my heart galloping. Your words would
still the restless in me, your touch would calm the storm in me, your presence
would soothe the reckless me.

iPhone, the love of my life!
I know, more than half of the world is already judging me
for being in love with you, iPhone, and I really don’t care about that. My love
for you is as pure as a flower blooming in the middle of a snowy winter. Okay,
that might be a bit of exaggeration but you get the point, don’t you? My day
starts with you when I put you on snooze for more than an hour every 5 minutes;
you remind and help me pay all my bills on time; and when the night falls … I
just have to read books with you. I just can’t think of ending my day any other
way. *blushes*

Things That Comfort You

When we are at our worst, we need someone or something to comfort us – to tell us we are not as bad as we think, to make us realize that there’s a well of goodness within us too. But let’s be honest, how many people get such comfort? Being married or living in a family doesn’t mean that you get that comfort automatically. I’m one of those people who has to comfort herself.

How I Love Your World of Grey
| Source: miriadna.com |
You do not have to pretend in front of me because I do not expect you to be like everyone else. I don’t care if you don’t have any goals; I don’t care if you want to follow the trail of a butterfly; I don’t care if you don’t manage to accumulate the riches of the world.
What I care about is what you want; what your deepest desires are; what brings that glint in your eyes.

Mobile And Me
| Source: www.fanpop.com |
I know, the title is weird. "Mobile and me" ... or should it be "Mobile and I," given the fact that both of us are the subject of this blog post? Whatever. I'm going to keep it as "Mobile and Me" for the simple reason it rhymes! And you grammar nazi (usually, I'm one of them but in this instance, I've relaxed), if you have a problem, go and take a flying leap (I'd have in your place for thrills. Tip: make sure you have mattresses under you wherever you land after your leap. I know, I know, I'm pretty helpful.).

Recipe: Creamy Pumpkin Pasta
Many of you must be knowing how big a foodie I'm! Of course I love to try out new dishes, go to new eateries and cook when I've time. So when I came across a Del Monte competition organized by Indiblogger, I was super excited for several reasons:
- I loveeeeee Italian cuisine. Pasta, ravioli, lasagna. You name it and I love it. Disclaimer: I've loved everything that I've tasted until now of the cuisine.
- I love experimenting, and this competition just gave a legitimate reason to do that!
- One of my dream vacations has been to go to Italy and learn the cuisine from the native but fat chance of that due to several reasons: I'm vegetarian and I wonder if they would have vegetarian version of every dish, and secondly, who the heck has that kind of money? Well, certainly not me.

We Are Incomplete ... Yet
Since I've shifted to Delhi, I'm spending too much time with myself. Not in the sense I'm getting bored but more in the sense that I'm dating myself. I'm finding it more productive to sit around and think all types of things. Sometimes those things are stupid things like how I'd like to change the world and shoot all the terrorists, while sometimes I get lost in the memories from the past. When the latter happens, I realize how I've changed.

A heartbreak
You broke my heart in thousands of little pieces,
Large enough to be seen but too small to be picked,
Stuck under my bare feet, making me bleed.
I bleed a river everytime I try to walk away from you,
Choked with memories that had made me beautiful,
Lost in the darkness of senses crippled by you.
You freed me but not from you,
I try to see you in every held hands,
In every embrace of emotions,
Only to find disillusion and anguish
Maybe we weren't meant to be,
Destined to belong nowhere,
Paying for the sins unknown,
Living in the shadow of obscurity.

Eat & Stay Lean With Lean Chef
Rocky and Mayur have ventured out to explore food from all parts of India and curate videos on Askme.com I'm contributing my part by relishing my favorite dishes at Lean Chef and sharing my views with you all! You can also upload your video review on AskMe and stand a chance to meet Rocky and Mayur.
If you are my regular reader, you would definitely know how big a foodie I'm! And since the day I've shifted to Delhi, it's literally a food paradise for me. It's not that Ahmedabad didn't have good enough places to eat; it was more of a case of having eaten at most of the places! (Yeah, that happens when you have spent most of your life at one place)

Father's Day Special
I don't know why but every woman shares a special bond with her father. It's not that we don't love our mothers but Daddy is special. He's truly the first man in our life who teaches us to love — love ourselves as well as love small things of life.
He's our very first Prince Charming. He's always there to clean our cuts and sympathise with our problems (even the minor ones).

A Closure

Fulki was staring at the rustling leaves of the tree outside her window. A couple of small sparrows were tweeting and playing with each other. They seemed so happy, so carefree. Like she was. Once upon a time; a long, long time back.
The door to her room opened and her mother’s husband entered. She saw a gift-wrapped box in his hands and looked away. She didn’t want to touch that but she didn’t know how to refuse. He had always been nice to her despite of her resentment. Maybe she could ignore the gift and make everyone forget about it?

“This f***ing system is so f***ing slow”
“He’s b*****. Most of the times, he doesn’t know what the f*** he’s doing!”
“Aree b*****, how long does it take to cross the f***ing road?”
“What the f***?!”

The Chocolate
Udichi couldn’t wait to be alone. She had got a huge bar of chocolate in her backpack and she wanted to savor it without Udipti, her twin. It wasn’t as if she hated her; it’s just that sometimes she wanted to do somethings alone. Her mother, on the other hand, always wanted both of her daughters to do same things. Maybe it saved her time to keep track of their activities.

Blood Money

“Abhay, serve the tea on table four quickly!”
Suppressing a flare of irritation, Abhay took his gaze off the TV in the kitchen. Even though he felt like smashing the cup on the tray, he carefully poured hot tea and went to serve the customer. He absolutely hated the restaurant’s crowd. They were stuffy and always ready for fight. Once he had spilled a bit of tea on some hotshot’s trousers and man, was it a mess. Despite of him apologizing again and again, the man had threatened to beat him up. As if that was going to make his pants clean! Huh!
As soon as he served the tea, the customer yelled – “The tea is cold! Don’t you dare serve me leftover.”
