I know, the title is weird. "Mobile and me" ... or should it be "Mobile and I," given the fact that both of us are the subject of this blog post? Whatever. I'm going to keep it as "Mobile and Me" for the simple reason it rhymes! And you grammar nazi (usually, I'm one of them but in this instance, I've relaxed), if you have a problem, go and take a flying leap (I'd have in your place for thrills. Tip: make sure you have mattresses under you wherever you land after your leap. I know, I know, I'm pretty helpful.).

Well, being adventurous is easy and fun when you are young and fit. However, the matter takes an interesting turn when you are errr…..fat. There, I said it. Apart from having problems in fitting into normal-sized clothes, fat people are always scared of treading on someone’s toes because their kindness is directly proportional to their weight.

The same holds true for me.

My Dream Vacation for 2014

I love travelling. Be it in India or abroad. Unfortunately neither I’m Paris Hilton with millions of dollars in my trust fund nor am I a travel show host who goes around fantastic, eye-popping places at the expense of the producer! On the hindsight, I do think I chose the wrong career; I should’ve have gone for media journalism and should have tried my hand either with food shows or travel shows. Coming back to present, being a lowly-paid corporate slave, going to new places for vacations is my dream; and I try to fulfill my dream by taking one annual vacation. The destination of my vacation, however, depends on the number of leaves I have and amount of spare money on hand (which usually doesn’t amount to much!).

An Unexpected Date with Lions

This last Sunday is going down as my most memorable Sunday in a long while. When I woke up in the morning in my usual grumpy mood, I was planning to do nothing more strenuous than being a couch potato and watch TV. Just imagine sitting in front of a 42-inch idiot box with a tub of chocolate chip ice-cream. Ummm…. Anyway, I was looking forward to surfing the cable and watching Happy Feet 2 on HBO in the evening. Great plans, weren’t they? But alas, God had other plans for me that I wasn’t aware of. Better plans that now I am dying to share with you guys.
