Holding your hand,
Trusting your promise,
I took the first steps.
From your extended arms,
And tender smile,
I knew you will catch my fall.
You sired me,
Gave wings to my soul,
I became a part of you.
You sheltered me,
Kissed my hurts,
I compared all men to you.
You were my world,
Will remain so,
I mattered to you.
Trusting your promise,
I took the first steps.
From your extended arms,
And tender smile,
I knew you will catch my fall.
You sired me,
Gave wings to my soul,
I became a part of you.
You sheltered me,
Kissed my hurts,
I compared all men to you.
You were my world,
Will remain so,
I mattered to you.
