Life is short

Source: commons.wikimedia.org

Usually I don't like quotes because somehow I find them preachy. For the same reason, I don't like reading auto biographies. I firmly believe each and every person is different, and no two people can feel the same things and can react in the same manner. If any one of you has ever read George Soros (the finance guy), you will know what I mean. However, few days back I was reading some article and there I found a beautiful para about life. As I couldn't find the original source of that work, I have reproduced the content that was written. If anyone of you is aware about whom to credit for this work, please let me know. Until then, enjoy this piece. I'm sure you will find good inspiration from it.

This is your life. Do what you love. And do it often. If you don't like something, change it. If you don't like your job, quit. If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop. They will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing. All emotions are beautiful. Life is simple. When you eat, appreciate. Every last bite. Open your mind, arms and heart to new things. And people. We are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often. Getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once, seize them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them. So go out and start creating. Life is short. Live your dream and share your passion.

Beautiful, isn't it? Specially I loved the line: "Getting lost will help you find yourself." What did you like the most in this para? Or did you hate it?

  2. Some of the quotes are like answers to questions we ave been asking ourselves for a long time.. So it's better to resort to them than grope in the dark :)

    1. But isn't the real question is our ability to implement these quotes rather than just understanding it? :)

    1. I think we are more prone to just take it as a quote rather than think upon it deeply :)
