PADE Day 3 "Candles"
Since I was a kid, I have been told by my elders to live a
life like that of a candle. A candle that sacrifices itself to give light to
others; a candle that endures loss to show the right path to the lost traveler in
the darkness.
Although I cannot be that candle, I do appreciate the people who try to live like a candle.
Although I cannot be that candle, I do appreciate the people who try to live like a candle.
I have taken these snaps from my iPhone 4S. I simply love
the shape and texture of this candle. I even love the way it casts its own
shadow. Hope you guys enjoy looking at it the same way I do.
This post is my entry for the PADE conducted by “Just a mom”
Everyone can be a candle...after all not all candle bear same shape, color and also flame...so why can't you :)
ReplyDeletePunit, good question. It's simply because I don't want to sacrifice anything. I am happy to help anyone as long as I don't have to let go of anything that I don't want to. I know, pretty selfish :(
DeleteNice writeup accompanying your photos Pankti!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ritu!
DeleteHey!!!Beautiful write up!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jini.
DeleteLove it...love the second one..And I believe we are all Candles..Start as a small flicker...glow more and more..with melting inhibitions...and glow the most when all inhibition melts away.....and finally dissolve in air....
ReplyDeleteThanks Sfurti. BTW, I am not interested in melting and dissolving in air :P
DeleteI second with Juzta, the second pic looks awesome and as for living like a Candle I always try to live with that attitude..a much appreciated post...
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteVery thought provoking indeed. I really liked the innate philosophy, though looking crude, but I too hold these views.
