Where the hell is Simi? Arpit wondered furiously. He had checked Simmi’s class, canteen and library but she was nowhere. He had sighted Kajal but she was in her basketball practice uniform and so he didn’t expect Simmi to be around her. He had already deduced that his Simmi was a mild person with no inclination toward any kind of sports, and he was thankful for that. He didn’t want her to be distracted by stupid games. She was fine as she was, but where was she?

Medium Size And The Lady

For the first time, a guest post is being featured on my blog, and the wonderful thing is, it's from my good friend Anunoy Samanta. I've known Anunoy for around a year now and it has always been fun to read his stories. Apart from being unique and creative, he always manages to incite laughter from his readers. Read on for a good chuckle.

The door bell rang at a critical moment and the chore remained unfinished. Truly said, nothing happens before its time. He wrapped up the towel again with thousand “whomsoever it may concern” curses and flashed water in the empty pan. An ill fated cockroach peeped out from under the folded toilet seat and took a gust of insecticide spray; after all, there had to be someone to take the first blow of fully dismayed Bholanath before the late morning visitor.

Even though two days had passed since Simmi’s unexpected meeting with the tennis ball, she still got blinding headaches. She had already been to her family doctor for the check-up, who had advised her bed rest for couple of days. And she had followed the doctor’s advice to the hilt; of course, it’s another matter that she didn’t have any other choice with constant headaches. Today was her first day in the college after that incident and she was enjoying it with relish. Who wanted to be stuck in a bed on such a wonderful day? With monsoon approaching sooner than later, the atmosphere was quite cool and cloudy. It looked as if it was going to rain anytime.

Smelly Encounters

Source: delawer-omar.deviantart.com

Usually when we talk about smelly people, we mean the smell emitting from a person’s body. The body that sweats out the food that we choose to eat. But what about the foul smell that permeates our soul, our psych and our spirit?

Shade

Recently I visited Somnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlings. Before you start taking me as a religious person, let me clarify that I go to these places because my family loves to visit them and I like accompanying them. On our temple visiting spree - Somnath really has too many temples - I discovered one gem of a place. In a huge compound, there are multiple temples on one side and on the other, there was this beautiful tree surrounded by benches. Behind the trees, the sea inlet was flowing smoothly, blowing cool winds under the hot sun.

Smoking Hot

OMG! Who’s that guy? How come I haven’t seen him before? I’ve been working for this company since last 7 years and being the busy body that I am, I know all of the 230 employees. How did I miss this hotie? Holy hell, just look at his eyes! They were enough to make you swoon. I couldn’t resist my curiosity and asked Binita sitting beside me.
