Weak & Stupid

Weak and stupid that I am,
I gave you the power to maim me,
A license to shatter my faith,
The might to make me question my beliefs.

Weak and stupid that I am,
My heart cracked with your harsh words,
My innocence splintered with your prejudice,
My rosy vision blurred with your attitude.

Weak and stupid that I am,
I failed to see the evil in you,
Blind to the lack of virtue in you,
Ignorant of your immorality.

Weak and stupid that I am,
I weep for the loss of my glow,
Bereave the death of my ignorance
Mourn the stripped simplicity of mine.

Yes, I am weak and stupid.

  1. This one is powerful. Sounds somewhat like coming from someone deeply hurt. I mean it sounds straight from the heart and that too broken. But last 2 verses do exude positivity.
