Weak & Stupid




Weak and stupid that I am,
I gave you the power to maim me,
A license to shatter my faith,
The might to make me question my beliefs.


Weak and stupid that I am,
My heart cracked with your harsh words,
My innocence splintered with your prejudice,
My rosy vision blurred with your attitude.

Weak and stupid that I am,
I failed to see the evil in you,
Blind to the lack of virtue in you,
Ignorant of your immorality.

Weak and stupid that I am,
I weep for the loss of my glow,
Bereave the death of my ignorance
Mourn the stripped simplicity of mine.

Yes, I am weak and stupid.

    This one is powerful. Sounds somewhat like coming from someone deeply hurt. I mean it sounds straight from the heart and that too broken. But last 2 verses do exude positivity.

    Now its time to keep aside the weakness and stupidity aside,get up and start new...If we appear weak and stupid the world will always take us for granted..
